It is a platform and an environment where information can flow easily and inexpensively from physician to physician, physician to patient and from patient to physician. Mitochon Systems offers physicians and their patients an entry point into a Virtual Medical Community™ (VMC) through the deployment mConnect and mEMR, it’s EMR and practice management tool. Once in the VMC, physicians can engage and connect, electronically sharing patient history with authorized physicians (inpatient or outpatient) or healthcare organizations, reducing life threatening errors and increasing efficiency.

The method for bridging this connectivity gap centers on a free EMR solution coupled with a gateway to Mitochon’s Virtual Medical Community™ (VMC), the platform where the information sharing and collaboration can occur.
